FPV Drones not just for the military – video

So we all hear about them often – drones.  The U.S. military is using them to carry out all kinds of missions and they are taking on some of the more dangerous and strategic missions that are carried out today.  However, did you realize, this type of technology is not just for the military?  Civilians are getting into the FPV (First Person Video) aspect of Radio Controlled (RC) flight and it is becoming one of the most popular aspects of RC flying today?  Of course us computer nerds can really geek out on the technology aspect of this budding hobby.  It involves a tremendous amount of technology all packed into a small space including RF, video, and telemetry data collection just to name a few.  Add that along with the regular aerodynamics laws of flight and you have a pretty interesting mix of technologies!
