Microsoft no longer allowing recordings of official classes

My associates and I have recently taken Microsoft training through a well known training vendor who provides online classes as a training option.  Just recently when recorded class content was accessed for review, it was realized that the recordings were no longer available.  When the account representative was contacted he stated that “Microsoft has forbidden ALL training companies from recording official classes until further notice.”

I wanted to put this out there in case anyone else has run into this road block recently with online Microsoft classes.  To me this is a major blow to the appeal and portability that online classes offer since a student can not go back to review class material which was previously available.  I am checking with a couple of other sources on this to get a more definitive answer and will keep everyone posted as to what I find.
