Java Control Panel – Controlling Downloads

It seems no matter how up to date a workstation is, due to the highly vulnerable nature of computers – security updates, patches, updates and other software downloads are constantly checking to see whether or not you have the latest version of software.  One of these that can be a pain especially for system administrators who prepare workstations for under privileged users who may not have permissions to install software.  Fortunately, with Java, there is a Java control panel that can be used to configure whether or not Java downloads updates and how often.  This is located under control panel as Java (32 bit)
