I wanted to post some pictures of the new rack a client received in yesterday noting the styling of the Dell enterprise badging and modified look of their enterprise hardware. Note the picture below of the new Dell rack.
Notice how this matches up nicely with the new design on the R710 and R510 Poweredge boxes. This look is a little more liberal approach to the new styling on the servers compared to the older Poweredge 2950s that are common with the Aluminum “hole-punched” look which you see just above the servers mentioned above.
I have to admit, I like the look. Dell seems to stay on the cutting edge of their styling of new enterprise equipment.
